I am Dr Usman Barkat, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), from Sargodha Medical College (University of Sargodha) in 2017. I have experience working as a Physical Therapist, at various primary and tertiary care hospitals of Pakistan. I am a certified cardiopulmonary physical therapist and have treated many patients in the ICU department of the CPE Institute of Cardiology who have undergone cardiac surgery. Besides this, I have done various courses which include Dry Needling, Cupping Therapy, Intra-articular injections therapy and Plasma Replacement Therapy (PRP).
My expertise are in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation which include Muscle stiffness/injury, joint pain, sports injury and spine related issues.
I have a very good at treating Neuromuscular disorders which include, CVA, Stroke, Bell’s/Facial Palsy, peripheral/Diabetic neuropathy, Paresis, Myopathies, Myasthenia gravis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy,
Along with all, i have excellent grip over Pediatric rehabilitation which include, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, autism spectrum disorder, acquired brain injuries, developmental delays, and movement/orthopedic impairments

Now I am working as a first contact practitioner | consultant physical therapist in my own setup named Physio-fit and Rehab Clinic under the banner of Tariq Medicare (TMC) in Khanewal, Punjab, Pakistan.
My consistent nature and critical thinking skills drive my ambition to excel. I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, research acumen, and IT proficiency. The seminar fostered a collaborative environment, bringing together experts from both sports medicine and rehabilitation to explore the intricate relationship between athletic performance, injury prevention, and recovery. This experience broadened my understanding of the comprehensive care required for athletes and individuals engaging in physical activity, highlighting the importance of integrated medical strategies. Hence valuable stuff is added in my experience bucket.
